The View of Tokyo above is an original screen print on newspaper. It was done from sketches made from the window of my room at the New Sanno Hotel, sometime in the 1980s. It is significant because it shows the beautiful old tile rooftops in the forefront and the new high risers replacing them in the back. I also have a framed dyptich of the same view.
